Even with everyone cheering for him, it bothers Rashad that Bell had an impact on Phenomeno. Basara admits that Rashad is not smiling as much as he used to. Valt overhears them talking. Rashad says he is aiming for the throne for High King. Valt notices the fire in his eyes.
Valt approaches Wakiya asking for a battle between the three of them: Himself, Rashad, and Bell. Wakiya agrees. A short time later, Wakiya announces the event. In addition to the main battlers, each will have a partner as their strategy aide. Rashad asks Basara to be his partner, but Basara says he can't. Basara has decided to leave Rashad's club. Rashad takes it kindly telling Ilya, "He needs more time to grow."
Elsewhere, Valt has asked Shu to be his strategy partner.
Some time later, Basara flew home and has approached Bell at the Gates of Hell. He wants to battle the Demon King once again and replicate their first battle. When Belial burst Bahamut with Dangerous Bomber, Bell cheers for his revenge. He asks Basara to stay and battle more. Basara smiles that says, "I'm glad to be back."
