Wakiya has announced that the next phase of battle camp will be tag team battles.
Pax doesn't want Twister Pandora to compete in tag team battles (especially with Bell as a partner since they don't get along well), and asks that Quadra be withdrawn. When Pax is shown Bell and Pri battling and having fun, he changes his mind.
Pax, however, becomes angry when he sees Bell using Twister Pandora to his advantage during their early tag-team battle. When Bell sees Pax after the battle outside the stadium. Pax intimidates the younger boy by saying that he couldn't win on his own.
Bell and Pri's next opponents are the Asahi brothers. Remembering what Pax said, Bell doesn't give Quadra a chance as he tries to win all on his own. Needless to say...they lost. Quadra realizes what happened and becomes angry with her brother's interference.
The Asahi brothers go on to battle Valt and Ranzo. In this case, the great planning and teamwork between Valt and Ranzo paid off, and they win the championship.
