Uryu drinks the blood of Yhwach. Beforehand he asks why he was made the successor.

Yhwach says, "You're the only Quincy in all history to ever survive the Auswahlen. There is a reason that you survived." Uryu tells Yhwach that he has severed all ties to be there... to bury the soul reapers.

In Hueco Mundo, Chad and Orihime resume training.
