While falling, Yhwach finally regains his Schrift, as per the Kaiser Gesang, "The Almighty," which allows him to ward off Ichibei's power and become all-seeing.
Ichibei tries to trap him, but Yhwach breaks through with his power and appears to kill him.
Having survived and gaining power due to the king's awakening, Uryu is also able to reflect the effects of Senjumaru's Bankai onto her with his Schrift and after a brief battle, pierces her heart.
The defeat of Squad Zero is felt through the Seireitei, while Yhwach reaches the Soul King and impales him, as Uryu, Haschwalth and the Schutzstaffel kneel before him.
Ichigo's group arrives in the Soul Palace and calls out Ichibei's name, which raises him from death by using a portion of Ichigo's powers. Currently powerless, Ichibei asks Ichigo to stop the Quincy King.
Meanwhile, Shunsui approaches Aizen in the Muken..
