Highlights:
Dabi tells Hawks that he will be given another chance to join the League of Villains if he takes someone out...and not number one. Not long after, Hawks visits the recovering Best Jeanist. Pulling a feather blade, it "appears" that Hawks has killed him... especially when he flies off with a large duffle bag.
Meanwhile, Deku is spending time with his mother for the New Years Holiday. Of course, it is full of waterworks.
After quality time with Mom, Midoriya takes the bus to meet up with Todoroki and Bakugo for their work study with Endeavor.
Almost immediately after meeting with Endeavor, the new interns get involved as Endeavor must stop an attempted attack by a glass-controlling villain and his minions.
Hawks and the interns show up to take down the minions. After the villains are apprehended, Hawks gives Endeavor a book by Destro entitled "Meta Liberation War." It looks as if Hawks is trying to get a point across, and Endeavor picks up on it.
Once everyone returns to Endeavor's agency, the number one hero heads to his office to examine Destro's book. At the same time, the interns are welcomed by Endeavor's sidekicks.
Endeavor connects specific letters in the sections that Hawks has highlighted realizing that there is a secret message. Endeavor's eyes widen to see, "In four months, the Meta Liberation Army will attack Japan."
NOTE: Events from the episode took place in mid volume 24 (Hawks call) and end of volume 25 of the manga.
