Highlights:
It's back to U.A. for the 3rd semester for Class 1-A. Class Rep. Tenya Ida has taken it upon himself to prepare the students for their daily agenda. They are off to suit up when Aizawa arrives. However, he and Present Mic are soon summoned to Tartarus Prison. They are met by Detective Tsukauchi and Gran Torino, who give them the run-down.
Investigation revealed that Kurogiri is a Nomu, genetically engineered creatures with multiple quirks. They are made from the corpses of humans, while fusing together multiple quirk factors. In some cases, the body's personality remains. They believe the base factor of Kurogiri is Aizawa and Mic's former friend from high school, Oboro Shirakumo.
It's emotional for both former friends, but they are able to reach Oboro. An eerie image appears in Kurogiri's billowing purple fog strongly resembling their deceased friend. He squeezed out the word "hospital" before shutting down altogether.
After the shaken Aizawa and Present Mic leave, Tsukauchi sends the information 'up the chain,' which eventually reaches Hawks. Surprisingly, this small "hospital" clue puts the pieces together for the number two hero.
Elsewhere, at the suspected hospital, a terrifying scene unfolds. Shigaraki is undergoing horrific treatment turning him into the World's greatest foe! An elderly doctor watches the progression calling Shigaraki his masterpiece!
