Todoroki explains his childhood to Izuku, which is why he has an intense hatred of his father and why he swore never to use his fire side in battle.
After lunch, the pairings in the final are announced. Of the four winning teams, the 16 members willed be engaged in one-on-one battles. The match ups will be decided by drawing lots.
Before the lots are drawn, both Ojiro and Nirengeki Shoda of class 1-B drop out. Neither can remember what happened during the cavalry battle. Two members of Team Kendo will take their place, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu (that name is so fun to say) and Ibara Shiozaki.
To start, Izuku will battle Shinso, Todoroki will battle Sero, Ida will battle Mei, etc.
Ochaco is shocked to learn that she will be battling Bakugo!
Izuku is up and despite getting coached by Ojiro, Shinso (quirk: Brain Washing) tricks Izuku to walk outside the ring. Will he do it and instantly be eliminated. The next episode will provide that answer!
