Wow... Two words! Mike NOOOOOOOOOO!! Gotta be honest...I just finished watching this episode and feeling a bit queasy...but in a good way. If that's even possible.

After the end of the 1st season, I've been following the manga pretty closely. This season picks up where we left off four years ago. Annie Leonhart was defeated, but the most shocking revelation was the discovery of a titan embedded within the wall. The series picks up from the end of volume 8 and into the beginning of volume 9. There were a few minor addtions that were not in the manga. One was the period where a sleepy Mikasa drops her precious scarf.

This episode involved: Wall Rose has a breach! The 104th Corps have been isolated further South in Wall Rose, and Titans are heading their way. The 104th Survey Corps are asked to travel to nearby villages and evacuate the people.

When the Titans all begin running, Squad Leader Mike Zacharias acts as a decoy. He encounters the intelligent Beast Titan and numerous other Titans. Mike goes down fighting. (Yuck, what a way to die?)
