Commander Erwin leads a team to recover Eren and capture Reiner and Bertholt/Bertolt .

Meanwhile, deep in Titan territory, Erin and Ymir are regenerating their lost limbs, while Reiner plans his next move. They are surrounded by hungry Titans, but the tall trees of the forest provide them a safe refuge.

Basically, this is a tease episode. Just when you think they will reveal some important information...build up...build up...build up...aaannnddd NOTHING! Except that Reiner seems to have a dual personality. In addition, you get a glimpse of what happened to Marco (The "flashback" image of a Titan eating someone; that's poor Marco.). You can catch this episode's written material in volume 11 of the manga.
