Episode 8: Outside the Walls of Orvud District

Highlights:

Rod Reiss is transforming and the underground chapel is collapsing. Levi instructs Armin and Moblit to take Hange and get out.

Eren saves the others from the collapsing debris by accomplishing Titan Hardening; the ability (used by the Armored Titan and so forth) for a Titan to harden their body. Right before Eren turned Titan, he drank the "Armor" bottle. Levi says that now that Eren is capable of using the hardening, things looks positive for plugging Wall Maria.

Rod had transformed into an abnormal and doesn't seem to care about devouring humans.

Squad Levi meets up with Commander Erwin. The groups return to Wall Sina to meet and discuss their next move.

Orvud District is where Rod is most likely headed.

Historia, as the true heir, is asked to become Queen to pacify the people. She agrees but until then, she dons her Scout uniform for battle.

Erwin says there will be no evacuations. The Citizens will remain where they are. The next episode will reveal his plan.
