Hange and the Jaegerists recover Levi's body. Zeke emerges from a dying Titan in his human form, which Hange uses as a distraction to escape with Levi. Zeke explains to Floch that his massive wounds were treated by a mysterious girl in a mystical place called the "Paths".
Meanwhile, Marleyan soldiers descend from their airships and open fire. Pieck and Gabi reunite with Magath, while Reiner and Porco battle Eren. Eren appears to have defeated them, but the tide turns when Magath fires a new anti-Titan cannon at Eren from Pieck's (titan form) back. This incapacitates him giving Reiner the chance to gain the upper hand.
In the city, the Marleyan forces overwhelm the Jaegerist soldiers. In desperation, Onyankopon releases the imprisoned Survey Corps members along with Niccolo and the Braus family. He asks for their help to defeat the Warriors. He convinces them that he was not part of the euthanization plan, but they debate whether they should help Eren... possibly the only one who can protect Paradis Island.
