Key events that take place during this episode:
We are introduced to a few more characters that work for the Military Police Brigade along with Annie. They are Marlowe, Hitch, and Boris.
This episode points out the corruption and laziness taking place within the Military Police. The scene where Marlowe confronts and is beaten by senior members of the Miliary Police involved in illegal actions is not depicted in volume 8 of the manga.
The rest of the episode centers around Armin, Eren, and Mikasa attempting to lure Annie into an underground location so she won't be able to go Titan. (Needless to say, Armin has deduced that Annie is the female titan.) Unfortunately, the plan goes terribly wrong.
