With both Megacon and the New York ComicCon this weekend, I've been closely watching to see what new licenses may be announced. This is what we can look forward to: ADV has licensed "This Ugly yet Beautiful World" a.k.a. "Kono Minikuku..." as well as the Area 88 OVA (well done ADV). 4Kids has licensed the Pretty Cure anime. (That one surprised me.) Then drum roll please...Funimation has licensed the FullMetal Alchemist Movie, "The Conqueror of Shambala." The movie is slated for a release October of this year. Some very good things to look forward to.

Just want to let Digimon fans know that more has been added to the Digimon Savers Official Japanese site. Sorry everyone, but there is no news yet when or if this season will air in North America. However, given the previous seasons, I'm sure we can expect it soon. Check out Lelola's Site for more Saver's details.

 Hee, hee, didn't take much to predict this outcome...let's see what's in 2nd!

Can you believe it? According to Anime Nation, the amount of new anime series in Japan has hit an all-time high for the month of April. (Check out their site for a list of new shows along with links to the official Japanese sites thanks to Moonphase.) Among those are the series XXXHolic, 2nd season of Tsubasa, .hack//Roots and Digimon Savers. Wow, how in the world can one keep up with all that? Based on what's coming in April, I put together a new poll. Somehow, I think I know how this poll will turn out.

OMG, I sound like a freak'n salesperson. However, the fact is that BestBuy has marked down many of their anime titles. Not only that...but in the Animerica Magazine (located close to the anime section) you should find a coupon worth 15% (non rewards member) or 30% (rewards member) on any one item. That can be a very good deal if you pick up a thinpack collection.

Yep, it's been posted just about everywhere....All of Mew Mew Power's 26 episodes that were purchased by 4kids have aired. Too bad the series is actually 52 episodes long. Sigh...don't ya just hate when that happens. Just so you know, I will continue to update that section (just not today :p). In other news, looks like all systems are go for Digimon Savers to commence airing in April. Now that's exciting.
