Wahoo!! Looks like Funimation has made a formal announcement indicating that the series "Heroic Age" has been licensed for distribution by them. This comes right before one of the largest anime conventions, Anime Expo, is about to take place. I'm looking forward to hearing about what takes place at many distributor panels...especially ADV films. I'm hoping the company is healthier than the rumors seem to indicate. Who knows....more licenses could be on the horizon!

I'm tired so my rambling was quick....Here is what's been added to the site:

Many people believe that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. Not me....so far it's been a great day. Having completed a site update just tops it off. Hope your day is going well, too!

One thing that isn't so great is the fact that Pan-Chan of Lelola has announced that she will no longer be updating her site. I'll miss you Pan....you were my mentor at a time when I was just starting out. I wish you the best of luck with whatever the future may bring, and I'm sure all of your loyal visitors feel the same.

On a final note, congratulations to Funimation for their double digit sales growth and gain in operating profits for the 2008 Fiscal year. Keep those Licenses coming!!

You know that economic stimulus we're getting....it's going towards Funimation titles!! What did you say? It's supposed to go towards gas. I'll give you gas...all you big shot oil mongules, filling your fat pockets while everyone else suffers. J/K...wait a minute...no I'm not!

Well, Funi certainly isn't making us suffer. In the past 2 weeks they have licensed the following great titles; Mamotte! Lollipop, Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple, Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino, Soukou no Strain, Shigurui, D.Gray-Man, and Romeo and Juliet. Funi also announced that we can look forward to the release of Ouran High School Host Club beginning May 30th.

NEXT...don't click on the Code Geass link!!! It's a section that's coming soon. I couldn't make up my mind between that and Bakugan Battle Brawlers...so I'm doing both. Right now there's just gifs in the Bakugan section. Sorry, these things take time.

Last but certainly not least...go see SPEED RACER!!! I finally had a chance to see it this weekend, and ya know what?...It's really good. The racing is incredibly excitng and visually impressive. It's just a fun movie to see. A couple things I will mention. Didn't care for the close-ups of the ugly bad guys (I really didn't want to see their nose hair). And I would have loved to see Speed have more lines. Emile is adorable...I could have listened to him say, "see you at the finish line," all night long. (^_~)
