Have any plans for next Saturday night (September 5th)? If you're a Bleach fan, then you might want to re-think them. At Midnight, Cartoon Network will be airing the 1st Bleach Movie entitled "Memories of Nobody." As it so happens, I purchased that movie a few months ago and recently watched it. The graphics were pretty impressive, but what I liked most about it was the fact that our favorites from the Soul Society were in it. So along with Ichigo and Rukia, you'll get some good Hitsugaya and Renji action….even a bit of Byakuya. Don't miss it.

On another note, looks like the morning lineup has changed on Cartoon Network (If you can trust the on-line schedule??). Fans of Bakugan should note that the airing time appears to be 8:00am instead of the 11:00am timeslot.

And, if you want to catch some additional anime, check out the "Chiller" channel, which has recently been airing Tokko and Descendants of Darkness. The times may vary so I recommend checking your cable listings.

As far as the site goes, I've finally come up with a decent layout for the "All Gundam" section. What a pain trying to please IE and Firefox….can't they all just get along…(^_~). Anyway, there's not that much yet, but I'm looking forward to continually updating that section. Along the same lines, looks like Gundam Unicorn is going to be a series of six 50 minute OVA's.

There seems to be some confusion whether or not the series Gundam Unicorn will commence Winter of 2009 or not. The official site (Click Here) says it's coming. The question is how? Bandai's President and CEO said previously that "there are no plans to broadcast a Gundam television series in 2009. We'll keep you posted when we find out just how this series will be presented.

And now for some better news: Anime News Network has been keeping up with the SyFy Channel's (formerly the Sci Fi Channel) schedule. Looks as if the long awaited Monster anime series will commence broadcast on October 12, 2009. Two back-to-back episodes will air per week.

Within weeks of the announcement of InuYasha: The Final Act, Viz Media has announced their acquisition of the licensing rights. The announcement took place at Comic Con International last weekend. In addition to Inuyasha, Viz also acquired both the Vampire Knight and Kekkaishi anime series.

There was more good news when Funimation announced they had acquired East of Eden and Casshern Sins. Finally, for the icing on the cake, Sentai filmworks has added Clannad After Story, Ghost Hound, and He is My Master. Start saving your money now for these new releases. There are some really good titles in the mix.

Wow, Bakugan New Vestroia is certainly getting exciting. The resisters (Shun, Ace, and Marucho) left on New Vestroia are in big trouble. Dan, you've got to go rescue them! (Sorry about the possible spoiler.)

OK, back on track. Vacations are great, aren't they? Mine is over now, but I must admit, it was nice not to worry about site updates for a while. One thing's for sure...It was very exciting to hear that InuYasha was returning. So true, according to Anime News Network, the anime will broadcast in Japan this fall and cover the story in volumes 36 to 56 of the manga, which is the final 21 compiled book volumes. It's good to know that the series resumes where it left off and doesn't just rehash what we've already seen like another popular anime.
