Wyatt first met Kai at their school (Whitney Prep School) in episode 5. He totally idolized the world champion beyblader, but
couldn't understand why Kai didn't want to beyblade anymore.

When Dunga challenged Kai. Wyatt couldn't believe Kai refused. He took it upon himself to take Kai's beyblade and face Dunga. That was a bad decision.

Wyatt meets up with Kai again in episode 16. He tells the world champion that he's been training at the Beyblade Training Academy but hit a brick wall.
He begged for Kai's help.

Kai refused to help, because Wyatt betrayed his trust after taking Dranzer to face Dunga.
Soooo when approached by Doctor B, Wyatt jumped at the chance to blade with Team Psykick
and its ultimate cyber bitbeast. Another bad move, Wyatt.

Poor Wyatt couldn't handle the power of the cyber bitbeast and nearly lost his mind in the
process. What happened to Wyatt will effect Kai greatly in the future.
